Installation of the Caspoc Site License Manager

Install the License Manager on your local network.

The CASPOC License Manager is designed to work on all types of Microsoft windows operating systems, like Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000 and XP.

The communication process is based on the file transfer protocol. The only requirement is that both the Client and Server software have read and write rights to a shared directory on the network.

1. Install the program CaspocLM on one of your PCs on your local network and start CaspocLM.exe

   

2. Go to File / Registration / Send Registration in the menu and fill the registration dialog box.

   

   Save these settings by selecting the button [Email Registration]

   

3. Send the file Registration.xml file from the CaspocLM directory to Simulation Research by email to Registration@caspoc.com

   

4. You will receive the license in the form of a license.xml file by email from Simulation Research. Copy this file to the directory where CaspocLM.exe is installed. (Same directory path where Registration.xml is)

   

5. Restart the license manager

   

6. Define the shared directory for the exchange of the license information.

   Select "File/License File Directory"

   

   and select the shared directory.

   

   Click [OK] to accept the shared directory

   Click [Cancel] to accept the directory where the License Manager is installed as default shared directory.

   After selecting the shared directory, the full path name to the shared directory name is displayed in the caption of the License Manager.

   

7. Run(start) the license Manager by "License Manager" / Start

   Default the License manager is already running during starting up of CaspocLM!

   

   The type of the license can be viewed by selecting the combo-box.
